That statement was posted to stop all the different rumor's as to why she has taken time off from CW. and gone home. not that there is someone out there impersonating her or anything like that.

We've seen at times that the artists have to make such statements for various reasons. In the absence of fact it is inevitable that speculation and rumor run about. Just human nature. ;) And yes, at times there have been impersonators. The worst has been a character that goes by Steve the Virgin or Steven Griffin. Avoid him like the plague and block him. Advise any artist who has him following that they should block him. He now has dozens of accounts because he keeps getting found out and blocked. He was a real hazard to Enya and Moya Brennan and others. The guy is a first class creep.
